I wondered when I woke up this morning if I'd feel any different. Turns out, I did: My arms were killing me.
All the work on the ceiling had taken it's toll, and today it was time to check out what new pops popped when the temperature changed. I enjoy listening to the ceiling crackle in the morning as it heats up- but this morning there were only a few pops, which meant that most of the work was done.
I mudded everything that needed to be (3rd coat going on just now), then will give it a full day to dry and re-evaluate. Since this is the bedroom I may forgo the sanding in favour of the sponge-bath. Sponging the drywall makes for a little more work but also polishes the surface. I haven't heard one way or the other which is better but I know sponge-bath certainly makes less of a mess. Besides, I don't want a pregnant woman snorting drywall dust.
The final reorganization of all the rooms has been somewhat decided upon. The futon goes to the Den, a 2nd bookshelf goes to the Den, an empty bookshelf goes to the bedroom, the tables in the bedroom get moved or trashed. I wish I had a space expert available to take a look at the layout.
The closet gets gutted and the racks for shirts gets moved around enough to put to rows on the right. I want to get her stuff in there too, freeing up the baby's room for more important things (like diapers). Next house I want a dumb waiter in it ;)
No photos yet of the belly- I need to start this sequence ASAP. My goal is a 360 shot every day. We'll see if I make it.
